Shipping and delivery services vary by item selected. For example, some items require in-home delivery, and other items ship via ground or express parcel service only.
Also, shipping and delivery restrictions may apply to certain items. For example, some items are available for delivery only in certain geographic locations, and other items may be shipped without restriction.
For specific details please see additional information below, and refer to the individual product descriptions.
Generally, large items such as Grand Bed Mattress Sets or the mattress and box spring components require home delivery service options. However, other items require ground or express parcel delivery options.
We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO & FPO addresses.
Grand Bed Mattress Sets & Components
The following options, service descriptions, terms, conditions, and restrictions apply to all Grand Bed Mattress Set and Component orders.
Availability & Delivery Area
The Grand Bed Mattress Set & Components are presently available for delivery to locations within the 48 Continental United States and limited areas of Canada.
In-Home Basic Delivery Service
Inside delivery to the room of choice, carrying up two flights of stairs, unpacking, removal of shipping debris and simple setup without the use of tools.
Threshold Delivery Service
Delivery to the first dry area; i.e. into residence entry door, or garage door. Carrying up two flights of stairs prior to the threshold.
**Additional stair flights, existing mattress removal, remote area zip code deliveries, and Saturday deliveries (when available) are an additional charge. Existing mattress removal not available with Threshold Delivery Service.**
Remote Areas and Non Service Area Surcharge
A surcharge will apply on all deliveries moving in or out of remote area zip codes or postal codes that are not readily accessible by a delivery vehicle. These are areas such as off coast islands that require freight to be either flown, barged, or a ferry toll is required; locations served by seasonal roads, and locations not served by roads in the public right of way.
Lead-Time, Delivery Date, and Scheduling
Grand Bed Mattress Sets and Components are special order items requiring approximately 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Bed support products typically ship in 2 to 3 weeks from date of order.
The estimated delivery date for your order is an automatically assigned date exactly 6 weeks from the date of order. Actual delivery date is subject to change until confirmed with you by our delivery agent.
Once your order arrives from the factory you will be contacted by our delivery agent to schedule a specific home delivery day. No deliveries are performed without a confirmed schedule.
Home deliveries are performed during Normal Business Hours. Normal Business Hours are defined as Monday through Friday excluding National and State Holidays, between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm local time.
Daily service is not available in all areas. Many rural areas are considered extended range areas with limitations on choice of delivery day.
An adult must be present at time of delivery.
Delivery Charges & Optional Service Charges
The following details typical delivery charges and optional service charges. All optional service requests must be completed at time of order.
In-Home Basic Delivery Service
Standard Rate: $195.00
Remote/Non Service Area Rate: $275.00 - $375.00
Threshold Delivery Service
Standard Rate: $150.00
Remote/Non Service Area Rate: $250.00 - $350.00
The above rates allow for delivery of up to two bed sets to the same address at the same time.
Removal & Disposal - Existing Mattress Sets
Standard Rate: $85.00 per set
Removal & Disposal of Existing Mattress Sets is a service only available in combination with In-Home Basic Delivery Service. Must be selected at time of order.
Delivery Day
Once our delivery agent calls you to schedule a specific delivery day, you will typically be given a 4 hour delivery window for the estimated time of arrival. For example, you may have a delivery window of 8am to 12pm. Since exact time delivery appointments are not possible, it is important to plan for an adult to be available at the delivery location during the assigned delivery window.
Some extended range deliveries, and remote area deliveries can have a delivery window longer than 4 hours. Road, weather, traffic, and customer delays on stops earlier in your route could affect your delivery schedule.
To help make the delivery process go smoothly, we suggest a few preparations in advance of the delivery team arriving:
1. Clear the path of travel to the room in which your Grand Bed will be placed.
2. Contain house pets to a safe area away from the intended path of travel.
3. Have your bed frame, bed base, or platform prepared to receive your new Grand Bed.
4. Remove slipping hazards along the path of travel such as snow or ice on entry stairs, or throw
rugs and floor/stair runners that could slide and pose a hazard.
5. If applicable, please notify your security service of an expected delivery.
Please remember, our delivery agent is not responsible for moving customer furniture. They do not carry tools and they are not allowed to assemble or disassemble customer furniture or components of your home such as doors, railings, windows, etc. All receiving preparations at the delivery location are the customer's responsibility.
